Program Objectives

The course program objectives for NIHM are created to reflect the expertise and experiences of Ambili Nair and Chef Prashanth Chembala. Inspired by Chef Prasanth’s mastery in curating authentic continental cuisine, culinary excellence takes center stage, so students can be creative in their culinary creations. 

Course Program Objectives Include the Following for B.Sc. in Hospitality Studies-

  • Making professionals industry-ready with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the hospitality sector. 
  • Gearing students for operational and supervisory roles across all five core areas of the hotel industry, including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, food production, and management. 
  • Prepare students to excel in diverse operational and supervisory positions, for better adaptability and versatility in the dynamic hospitality environment. 

 

For B.A In Culinary Arts, the core objectives of our program include:

  • Equipping professionals with culinary arts, so they are ready to excel in operational and supervisory roles in the food production and service areas of the hotel industry.
  • Provide students with specialized skills in kitchen management, and culinary techniques, so they are ready to meet industry demands
  • Making students competent enough with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in different food production and service roles, from menu planning and food prep to presentation and service standards. 

The curriculum also focuses on restaurant consulting and management, leveraging Chef Prashanth’s success in opening highly acclaimed brands, and includes digital marketing and branding strategies tailored for the hospitality sector, reflecting Ambili’s commitment to standardizing non-branded restaurants across India.
